SPORT TAKES only a brief pause for breath over the holiday period, before presenting itself again with an action-packed program from Boxing Day onwards.
Virtually every discipline is on parade on December 26, ranging from a full fixture list of Premiership football matches initiating a hectic schedule leading up to New Years’ Day, to top class National Hunt racing at Kempton, Leopardstown and Chepstow.
In between, England continue their Ashes series with the fourth Test against Australia in Melbourne, the world’s best skiers converge on Italy and Austria for the latest stage of this season’s World Cup and sailing will attract all the attention in Sydney, Montevideo and North Shore City, New Zealand.
