A delight to your senses

A Christmas market in Vale do Lobo on December 5 will offer visitors the opportunity to purchase both luxury and more affordable items while helping the less fortunate in the Algarve.

There will be something for everyone at the 3 Charities Christmas Market. Taste wines from Quinta do Barranco Longo, Adega do Cantor, Cortes de Cima and Prime Wines, plus organic food from Mercearia Bio.

Smell the gorgeous home-grown flowers by Suzannah and the scented candles made from olive oil from Herdade Joia do Sul.

See accessories and fashion from Pica Pica Boutique and Jouk, plus Indian fashion from Opium for a touch of the East. Feel the soft-to-the-touch cushions, throws, duvets and dressing robes from Linen etc and hear the angelic voices of the choir singing Christmas cheer.

Get yourself in the Christmas spirit with performances from Alison Blair and Nostalgia.

The international food kitchen will have delights from Fine Dining in Style, Bistro des Z’Artes and John Ketley’s smoked salmon.

You will also be in with a chance to win a luxury prize from your favourite exhibitor, who have all given gifts for the raffle, with all proceeds going to the three charities involved: Wolf Valley Charity Fund which provides support and finance to needy causes in the Loulé area; ACCA, a charity that supports underprivileged children and their families in the region, and Madrugada which supports people with life-limiting illnesses and provides palliative care for homes throughout the Algarve.

The Christmas market starts at 11am and entrance is free. However, an optional donation of €3 on the door will give you a glass of wine from Cortes de Cima and a Christmas mince pie from Jonnie at Bistro des Z’Artes.

The traditional market takes place in the Auditorium and gardens of Parque do Golf at Vale do Lobo. Parking and shuttle buses will be available.

The Algarve Resident is proud to be the official media partner of this event.
