Members of the Algarve Senior Bikers (ASB), led by Leif Axelsson, attended the official opening of the new headquarters of Moto Clube de Faro on June 2.
Moto Clube de Faro is renowned worldwide for the Faro bikers’ meeting organised each year in July and which attracts thousands of people.
In a presentation to José Amaro, president of Moto Clube de Faro, Leif Axelsson handed over a letter from David Shirley, founder of the ASB, congratulating the club on their achievement of building “such a fine facility for motorcyclists”.
The next ASB meeting will be held on June 29 at São Bras de Alportel, where members will take a ride in the Eastern Algarve and lunch in Fonte de Bispo.
