980 people vaccinated in Porto’s Queimódromo hear refrigeration glitch has not affected quality of their jabs

Exactly 12 days since Porto’s Queimódromo vaccination centre was closed down due to ‘refrigeration issues’, the 980 people who received their vaccines there during the two days previously heard the jabs have been considered ‘viable’, meaning no-one will have to go through the process again. The Queimódromo however remains closed for the time being. Vaccine task force coordinator Henrique Gouveia e Melo has reiterated that once authorities have vaccinated 85% of the population, vaccination centres operating through the country will be dismantled, leaving health centres to conclude the process.
