In spite of the news on Friday that the Air Force has agreed to ‘free up air space’ in a bid to cut down on flight delays at Lisbon airport, the truth is very little has changed. The chaos of the last week has barely altered: tens of flights are being cancelled every day. Yesterday, 46 flights were cancelled in and out of Lisbon; seven were cancelled in and out of Porto, three in Faro and four in Madeira. A total of 60, in other words, in a 24-hour period. The stories of unhappy passengers continue.
