An abandoned boat carrying 58 packs of hashish inside was found on Farol Island, Faro, on Thursday morning.
Maritime police in Olhão were alerted by a citizen at around 6.30am.
When they arrived, officers found the packs inside the boat and no one in sight. The boat was towed to Faro’s commercial port and the drugs were handed over to PJ criminal police who will continue the investigation.
