4th dose of Covid vaccine “could end up being offered to over-60s”

Following the announcement that only the over-80s would be offered 4th shots of Covid vaccines, health minister Marta Temido has now admitted this decision ‘could be extended’ to include people over the age of 60. Taking part in the press conference following today’s Council of Ministers, she said “evidence is not yet conclusive” – but what is definitely ‘not on the table’ is for further shots of vaccine to be offered to people UNDER the age of 60.
