A 47-year-old Romanian woman was killed in another tragic accident on the EN125 road between Faro and Olhão on Wednesday morning (March 30).
The woman was riding her bicycle to work when a Peugeot hit her from behind, projecting her onto the car’s windshield.
Police are investigating the causes of the accident.
Tyre marks on the road seem to indicate the driver slammed on the brakes shortly before hitting the woman.
According to TVI, the victim lived in Olhão, had a husband and child and often used her bicycle to get to work.
The accident happened at around 6.30pm.
