I have just been reading your newspaper article on the above. We have recently retired and have come to Portugal from England in our motorhome for an extended stay. We have travelled through France and Spain without any problems. On reaching the Algarve, we have found it really difficult to park up for the night. Lots of the campsites close for the winter and we have been turned away from two Aires as they were totally full.
We are happy to pay for basic services and feel if Portugal want to extend their winter tourism, you need to add more facilities.
If this is so busy in February, I hate to think what it is like in summer.
