A power cut at the Famalicão vaccination centre has rendered as many as 3,500 vaccines ‘unusable’. According to Cidade Hoje radio station today, the powercut happened overnight “and was not detected in time to avoid the damages”. The situation will put the next few days vaccination drive ‘on hold’ until new vaccines can be delivered.
