33,000 and counting: Ukrainians receiving temporary protection status in Portugal

As of yesterday, SEF borders agency had granted 33,106 requests for temporary protection from Ukrainians fleeing the war in their country. Over 11,400 refer to minors; the majority of the rest to women. According to SEF’s figures, the municipalities welcoming the most Ukrainians since the start of the conflict continue to be Lisbon, Sintra, Cascais, Porto and Albufeira.
