Hundreds of shoppers attended the 3 Charities Christmas Market fundraiser held in Vale do Lobo at the weekend.
A total of €1,750 was raised for the Wolf Valley Charity Fund, which provides support and finance to needy causes in the area, the AOA (Associação Oncológica do Algarve), an organisation that provides assistance to cancer patients in the Algarve, and the Centre Algarve initiative, which will open in the Algarve next year as Europe’s first special needs holiday centre.
Shoppers were able to purchase Christmas gifts and food at the market, while being entertained by fashion shows, live musical performances and entertainment for the children.
The event was organised by lifestyle marketing company Yellow Kite, and sponsored by Vale do Lobo and Premier FX.
Due to the success of the event in its first two years, it has now been set to be a permanent fixture in the Algarve’s Christmas calendar.
