An earthquake measuring 3.0 on the Richter scale was registered this afternoon, around 66 kilometres southwest of the Saint Vincent Cape in Sagres, Vila do Bispo.
The epicentre was registered at 1.13pm at a depth of 21km, reports the Sea and Atmosphere Institute.
A 3.7 quake had already been registered on Saturday in Santiago do Cacém, Setúbal.
