25th Algarve Classic Cars almost on the road

The 25th Algarve Classic Cars event, considered to be the main classic car regularity rally in Portugal and Spain, returns to the road between July 7 and 9.

The event is organised by the Clube Português de Automóveis Antigos (CPAA), under the guidance of Luís Brito.

Participation in the event has surpassed expectations, with the route promising “great experiences for all types of driving”.

The event is divided into the sports category (16 special stages, competition and performance) and the tourist category.

Usually around 150 vehicles participate in this event, and one way to see them is to visit the Vilamoura Marina where they will be on display outside the Tivoli hotel from lunchtime on Friday, July 7. They then depart the following morning at the start of the rally.

Organisers say: “This extraordinary rally will rediscover unique landscapes of the Algarve, in a very special event celebrating its 25th anniversary.”
