ANSR, the national authority for road safety has announced that just in the last two years, 242 motorcyclists have lost their lives on Portuguese roads; 992 have been seriously injured in accidents. This weekend sees a forum to be held in Torres Vedras (at the Centro de Exposições da Expotorres) in a bid to raise safety awareness among motorcyclists.
