Live and Loud Fest brings classic rock hits to Portimão
Several legendary rock bands will see their best hits played at the first Live and Loud Fest Powered by Marginália, which will take place next week (August 28 and 29) at Portimão’s Praça da República (Alameda) square.
The first group to perform on Wednesday, August 28 will be The Knight Riders, an Algarvian band that pays tribute to the 80s by performing tracks from many classic bands and artists including Duran Duran, Guns N’ Roses, Depeche Mode, Tears for Fears, Michael Jackson, INXS, Bryan Adams and Bon Jovi.
On the following night, One Vision will perform all the classics by British rock band Queen. Expect to sing along to ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’, ‘We are the Champions’ and ‘Who Wants to Live Forever?’.
One Vision are described as the “oldest Queen tribute band in Portugal, having performed over 600 times in Portugal and abroad”.
Both concerts begin at 10pm and are free. After each concert, the party will continue at local bar Marginália, a thriving spot for live music.
