‘Driving school app’ “can see pupils reach testing stage without taking a single lesson”

The driving school IT programme used to register the number of hours a pupil has driven in the company of an instructor “can be manipulated so that pupils can go into their test without having taken a single lesson”.

This is the claim of a recent news report, covered by SIC television, but refuted by driving schools interviewed, which said that they had no idea how to manipulate the software.

The ‘complaint’ came from an unnamed source ‘within the sector’, adds SIC.
