Vale do Lobo concert to pay tribute to ‘King of Rock and Roll’
The Algarve Jazz Orchestra has joined forces with ‘Selvis Prestley’ to bring an “unforgettable sunset concert on the course” to Vale do Lobo on Saturday, August 24 at 7.30pm.
The musicians of the Algarve Jazz Orchestra, alongside invited guest singer Selvis, will breathe new life into classic Elvis Presley hits.
Sing along to your favourite Elvis songs during this upbeat and informal concert, filled with plenty of surprises and some of the most famous songs from the King’s enormous back catalogue, including “Jailhouse Rock”, “Don’t Be Cruel”, “I Got a Woman”, “Always on My Mind” and “Suspicious Minds”.
The Algarve Jazz Orchestra, led by artistic director and trumpet player Hugo Alves, is a leading musical authority in the Algarve and its concerts are known for the passionate performers who embrace not only the music but also the surroundings to create unforgettable musical moments.
The Elvis Extravaganza open air concert on the course is one of a series of events planned for this summer in Vale do Lobo.
Tickets are priced at €30 for the general public with a 50% discount for children under 12. Bar service available half-an-hour prior to the performance.
