Business breakfast focuses on “What’s next for the Algarve?”
A business breakfast focusing on ‘connectivity and tourism development’ in the Algarve will be held on Thursday, January 31 at the Pestana Vila Sol Hotel in Vilamoura at 8.45am.
The theme will be ‘What’s Next for the Algarve’ and will focus on topics like the impact of Brexit, the resurgence of rival holiday destinations and the bankruptcy of Monarch Airlines and Air Berlin Group.
It will be led by Gavin Eccles, who will analyse the “past of the Algarve’s aerial connectivity and will highlight the opportunities that will arise as the aviation industry continues to change”.
Eccles has over 15 years of experience in marketing and strategic management and is responsible for ensuring the success of international organisations’ strategies. He has worked with several companies including Sony, PwC, American Airlines, Marks and Spencer, Syngenta, Shell, BBC, Guinness and Marriott Hotels. In Portugal, he has worked closely with Amorim, Sonae, BES and the RAR Group.
Cost is €35 (plus IVA) up to January 21 and €45 (plus IVA) after January 21.
The event will be held in English and is organised by the Portuguese resorts’ association (APR) and the national council of the golf industry (CNIG).
