Head of Sixth Form at Nobel International School Algarve, Ian Moran, said: “Maiya and Sasha beat off fierce competition from four other pairs of students and both staff and students alike commented on the huge effort that had clearly been invested into all of their campaigns.”
The girls thanked “everyone who had faith in us to fulfil our pledges, and we want to congratulate the other groups, who made it a very tough competition.
“We want to make school as enjoyable as possible and to leave a legacy for everyone to enjoy in the future. We look forward to working with staff and students to achieve our goals.”
Maria Tomé, Head of International Section, said: “It is a pleasure to see Sasha and Maiya so keen to take on this challenge and I know that they will work hard on behalf of the students. It is a fantastic opportunity for them to develop their leadership skills.”
