Conrad’s recipe for romance

Conrad Algarve in Quinta do Lago has announced a mouth-watering five-course menu created especially for couples looking to enjoy an “unforgettable Valentine’s Day” at the resort’s Louro restaurant.

The romantic dinner begins with a scallop carpaccio featuring cauliflower, vanilla, cocoa nibs and raspberry jus, followed by sea bass with lemon grass dashi, bisque, mixed sprouts and ‘açorda’ (fried bread purée).

Following a champagne sorbet, the meat dish will be served. Chef Osvalde Silva will be serving veal with sweetbread, wild mushrooms, filet mignon and crispy quinoa.

A decadent chocolate and strawberry dessert will be the perfect end to a romantic meal.

Guests will also be offered a complementary bottle of champagne.

Price per person is €75.
