Award winning resort Vila Vita Parc is pulling out all the stops for New Year’s Eve.
With its Grand Gala “One Little Night in Havana” already fully-booked, the luxury complex is promoting festive fun in all its restaurants, both inside the resort and beyond.
Thus, the “romantic” Adega Restaurant is open for revellers who love Portuguese cuisine. The menu includes choices of octopus, shellfish, delicious fish soup with a mouthwatering “cornucopia” concoction for dessert.
The Atlântico, looking out over the ocean, is offering highlights that include smoked quail with Périgord truffle, sole with Imperial caviar sauce and melon, infused with hibiscus flowers.

Outside Vila Vita, the popular Biergarten is consolidating on what it does best: providing Bavarian delicacies with a twist of southern sunshine. Finally, for those who would like something a little different and perhaps a little less raucous there’s Restaurante Praia Dourada where diners can be ‘serenaded’ by the sounds of waves lapping on the seashore at Armação de Pêra. Culinary delights include oysters with yuzu and chilli, tender rump steak with Chimmichurri and Cassava chips with a pear and hazelnut gateau to follow, drizzled in a light chocolate sauce – and there’s the added bonus of a DJ promising to take diners into 2018 with “fantastic music”.
