Chefs charity dinner at Suites Alba

Raising money for the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs’ gastronomy school in Évora is behind the ‘Three chefs for a better future’ charity dinner, scheduled for June 9 at the Morgadinho restaurant of the Suites Alba Resort & Spa in Carvoeiro.

Louis Anjos, chef of Morgadinho, will be joined by chefs Bouazza Bouhlani from Convento do Espinheiro in Évora and Octávio Freitas from the Four Views hotels in Madeira to create a special menu for the event. A selection of students from the school will also be joining the chefs in the kitchen.

Wine will be provided by Quinta da Casa Amarela and Adega do Cantor, which support the event alongside Pro Chef, Vista Alegre Atlantis and Garrafeira Saint Graal.

Chef Anjos said: “Cooking is our job, but it is also an act of pleasure, joy and sharing. It can also be used as a social contribution, in this case to help youngsters have a better future.”
