Five young men are being sought today over a brutal attack with a baseball bat on a 20-year-old youth in Guimarães. The incident appears to have been a mugging (there is no context the victim can allude to). The 20-year-old was hit over the head and trunk after resisting his assailants’ demands to hand over his wallet. The five men, all in hoodies at the time pulled up over their heads, made off with his wallet, leaving their victim with injuries considered serious. PJ police are treating the incident as attempted murder.
