19-year-old arrested over fatal Alcobaça shooting

PJ police have detained a male suspect in the murder inquiry following the death of 18-year-old Soraia Andreia de Sousa, shot in the head in Alcobaça on Sunday night (click here). He is 19-years-old, of no known profession, and appears to have been in possession not only of the firearm ‘used in the practice of the facts’ but of various items belonging to the victim. The young man will now go before a magistrate to hear bail conditions.
