An 18-year-old man died today (May 17) in the latest tragic accident on the infamous EN125 road.
The young man, believed to be Portuguese, was driving his motorbike shortly after midnight when it crashed into the side of a car that was merging onto the EN125 in Patã de Cima, Boliqueime.
The victim is believed to have died on the spot, while the woman driver, 39, sustained minor injuries.
GNR police told the Resident they are investigating the circumstances of the accident.
