16 rescued tourists rescued at sea outside Lagos

A pleasure boat taking tourists on a trip along the coast outside Lagos port had to be rescued on Saturday after what was described as a “malfunction”. Maritime police were called to the scene in a rescue that went ahead in collaboration with Lagos ports authority. According to Correio da Manhã, publishing its last minute news items on Sunday, 16 tourists were rescued, and “despite strong waves, no one was injured”.
