1400 Ukrainian refugees have already signed work contracts in Portugal, while roughly 29,000 job offers have been distributed around the country since the start of the influx, Labour minister Ana Mendes Godinho has told the budgetary parliamentary commission. This means there are more than enough jobs to go round. So far, just over 33,000 Ukrainians have been offered temporary protection in Portugal – a third of these being children/ teens.
