Around 10 flights had to be diverted from Lisbon airport to “other airports” this morning following drone activity close to one of the runways. According to reports, a complete ban on landings was imposed for “almost an hour”, between 10.30 and 11.30, with only one plane among those waiting for clearance to land ‘accepting the risk’ and landing normally. All the other planes opted to land elsewhere.
